1. Make You Feel My Love (1997)
Adele曾經翻唱過,這上刀山下下油鍋無條件的愛:「I’d go hungry, I’d go black and blue/ I’d go crawling down the avenue/ There’s nothing that I wouldn’t do/ To make you feel my love」
2. Blowin’ in The Wind (1963)
在60年代冷戰氛圍中創作,美國總統甘迺迪在作品發表後三個月被行刺,歌曲被廣傳:「Yes, ’n’ how many ears must one man have/ Before he can hear people cry?/Yes, ’n’ how many deaths will it take till he knows/ That too many people have died?」
3. Just Like a Woman (1966)
他聲稱只是一首情歌,但對女性柔弱的描述,被女權份子批評多年:「She takes just like a woman, yes, she does/ She makes love just like a woman, yes, she does/ And she aches just like a woman/ But she breaks just like a little girl」
4. Mr. Tambourine Man (1964)
妙想天開的歌詞,有人說是他在吸毒後寫的:「Take me on a trip upon your magic swirlin’ ship/ My senses have been stripped, my hands can’t feel to grip/ My toes too numb to step/ Wait only for my boot heels to be wanderin’」
5. Tangled up in Blue (1975)
傷感的歌詞,據說是他與前妻離異的真人真事:「We drove that car as far as we could/ Abandoned it out West/ Split up on a dark sad night/ Both agreeing it was best」
6. Hurricane (1975)
另一首抗世之作,講述著名黑人拳手Rubin Hurricane Cater因種族歧視被控謀殺,蒙受19年冤獄:「Here comes the story of the Hurricane/ The man the authorities came to blame/ For somethin’ that he never done/ Put in a prison cell, but one time he could-a been/ The champion of the world」
7. The Times They Are a Changin’ (1964)
同樣出自冷戰時期的警世之作:「If your time to you is worth savin’/ Then you better start swimmin’ or you’ll sink like a stone/ For the times they are a-changin’」
8. Subterranean Homesick Blues (1965)
Bob Dylan的第一首電子作品,還有60年代不常見的MV:「Don’t wanna be a bum/ You better chew gum/ The pump don’t work/ ’Cause the vandals took the handles」
9. Lay Lady Lay (1969)
另一首感人至深的情歌,不論歌詞還是旋律,今天再聽也絕不老土:「Whatever colors you have in your mind/ I’ll show them to you and you’ll see them shine」
10. Like a Rolling Stone (1965)
一個富家女流浪凡間的故事,成為他最具影響力的作品之一,更曾經是《Rolling Stone》雜誌500首最偉大歌曲首名:「How does it feel/ To be on your own/ With no direction home/ Like a complete unknown/ Like a rolling stone?」
